Protecting the protectors is proud to be the major donors for the newly formed Police Assistance Dog program (PAD) with the Blue Ribbon Foundation

Our partnership with Assistance Dogs Australia

Victoria Police Blue Ribbon Foundation has chosen Assistance Dogs Australia (ADA) as its principal partner for the training and supply of high level, police assistance dogs. ADA is an industry leader in this field, with 26 years of experience, is internationally accredited with AAII, a registered NDIS provider and a registered charity with the ACNC.

The normal training time for each dog with ADA is two years at a cost of $40,000. To ensure the integrity and confidentiality of both expressions of interest and formal applications the highly qualified team at Assistance Dogs Australia will manage enquiries, applications and matching between dogs and their new owners.

We are very grateful that the Fighting PTSD Campaign have become major donors of the Blue Ribbon Foundation Police Assistance Dog Program. We thank Glenn ‘Dutchy’ Holland and all his supporters that have raised funds to help those suffering from PTSD.
