#fighting ptsd vicpol campaign flying the flag again at the Melbourne Marathon
Well its game on with the #fightingptsdvicpol campaign participating in the Melbourne Marathon event on Sunday the 14th of October.
We have several members proudly wearing our campaign clothing to help spread awareness for PTSD and mental health issues for our vicpol members whilst running, jogging or walking in the race.
Good luck to Pat, Amanda, Trinette, Steph and myself who will be trying our best with the 21.1km half marathon race.
Again this year our official ambassador and good friend Alexis Daish – crime reporter for Channel 9 news has been raising awareness and donations for our campaign. Alexis will again be running the 21.1km race.
To date Alexis has raised over $12,381 towards her $15,000 target.

A big thank you to my brother Craig Holland who this year for the first time will be running 42.2 kms the full Melbourne Marathon. My brother knows the incidents that I have personally attended and understands the ups and downs we as Police members go through.
Craig will also be running the event in the #fightingptsdvicpol campaign top and has also began raising donations along the way. His goal is to raise $5,000 and in just over a week he has already raised $1501.00

Thank you to my family, friends and everyone else who has personally supported my campaign.
