The #fightingptsdvicpol campaign is always trying to find a way to help raise awareness for PTSD and mental health issues for our Victoria Police members and retired veterans

Last year our campaign joined forces in the Inaugural Run 4 blue virtual reality event which helps raise money for Police legacies around Australia and we will again continue to help raise the numbers. This event is ran by Natalee and Tammy who are both Police members in Western Australia and Northern Territory.

The Run 4 Blue event starts on the 1st of May 2020 and will continue for the whole month.

This event is where you pledge to get out and walk or run as many kms as you like for the month. Your $38 entry fee will include a medal and also a large portion of the fee will be donated to the legacy of your choice.

Victoria had 94 people sign up last year where Victoria Police Legacy received over $1900.

This year I have put out the challenge that we can knock off WA and NSW with the most registrations.

Last year we had the Chief Commissioners from WA and Victoria involved and also Cricket Champion Brad Hogg and WA police dog Quokka. Lets see who else we can to join us

Once again thank you for everyone’s support with the #fightingptsdvicpol campaign. Hopefully I am making a difference and making it easier for everyone to talk about mental health.
